Since the construction of Cedar Creek Lake Reservoir in 1964, Log Cabin Park has shared memories with families as a resort and grown into the city we now know and love. In 1987, Log Cabin Resort Incorporated into The City of Log Cabin. We have the same “resort feel” with the added privilege of safety, surety and care for our citizens. We welcome you to come visit and experience some of the best waters at Cedar Creek Lake!
Vision/Mission: The vision of Log Cabin is to cultivate sustainable residential and commercial growth with integrity and dignity. Log Cabin is committed to nurturing, promoting, and improving the sense of community for its citizens, businesses, and visitors. The Log Cabin city government strives to provide dependability, transparency, and accountability to the community while respecting the dignity of its citizens. Log Cabin is steadfast in its goal to build public trust through excellence and fortitude.

The City of Log Cabin began as a Property Owner’s Association, Log Cabin Estates, and incorporated into a city in 1987. Since then the City has worked to grow and support its citizens. The City is a Type A, General Law municipality with a population of less than 1,000 residents. Hidden away, the City boasts one of the deepest boat ramps on the Cedar Creek Reservoir and public park with a swimming area, as well as a recently updated pier/dock that includes a floating dock. We are happy to host fishing tournaments throughout the year.
