Business Description
“I have lived in the lake area and in Pct. 2 since 1999. I have the highest respect for the citizens of Pct. 2, and have always loved the southern portion of Henderson County.
“I have always wanted to be involved in what was going on in our precinct, and to try and help improve and promote our end of the county.
“I have supported many endeavors that our precinct has been involved with, whether it involved the giving of my time from our entertainment business, or just simply volunteering my time to help any way I could.
“My wife, Angie Harley Tuley, was raised here. Together, she and I have continued to raise our family here.
“I have been part of the growing Mabank Independent School District, and served on the school board for eight years. During these years, we were able to balance a multi-million-dollar budget, build a new high school, complete the building, and remodeling of all three elementary schools, sought and hired the most qualified employees to protect and teach our children.
“I have been involved in many organizations, such as MLLFA, MBSA, Tri County Football Association, and GBC Toys for Tots. I am a member of the Cedar Creek Lake Parrot Head Club.
“After thinking of ways to continue to help improve and promote this precinct, I started looking for more ideas or opportunities to accomplish this goal.
“This has led me to the place and time for what we are all gathered here today to hear. I chose this location (to announce candidacy), the Pavilion in Gun Barrel City, because it’s in the heart of Pct. 2, and home to many citizens that always supported me.
