Our families live and work in Mabank, TX, so we’re invested in our community on a very personal level. And we believe every family in the area deserves individualized in-home senior care with a compassionate touch. That’s why we established Home Instead Senior Care^® of Mabank, TX.

Eric and Kim Gassman are the proud owners of Home Instead Senior Care -Mabank. Eric and Kim met in High School where they attended rival schools. They dated through High School and College and are about to celebrate their 25th wedding anniversary. They are the proud parents of a daughter, Michaela, who attends Tarleton State University and son, Coleton, who attends Mabank High School.

When not working, the couple enjoys spending time supporting their kid’s activities. Kim has been PTA President, FFA Booster Club President, Sunday School Teacher, Room, Team and Volunteer Mom. Eric enjoys coaching the kids in Sports, has held Athletic Booster Club Positions, FFA Booster Club Treasurer and Sunday School Teacher. Together, the Gassman Family enjoys time on the lake, playing games, watching movies and exploring new places. This couple is thrilled to be able to serve the families of their community. They have both witnessed their Grandparents age and need a little extra help. It was a huge relief for them when they found Home Instead Senior Care to help their Grandparents remain in their home. It is their sincere wish that they are able to provide this service to the families in the Henderson, Kaufman and Van Zandt County areas. As a locally owned business, we offer friendly, responsive service right in your neighborhood. We’re dedicated to making our community a better place to live for seniors and their families.

Paul and Lori Hogan founded Home Instead, Inc. in 1994 in Omaha, Nebraska. Paul’s own family experience caring for his grandmother led him to realize many families could use the help of an in-home caregiver. He and Lori set about creating a company to help seniors to live independently at home. That mission still drives the company and its franchise network today. Home Instead, Inc. began franchising in 1995. Today, the Home Instead Senior Care network has grown to include more than 1,000 franchises around the world — including this office in Mabank, TX. While our franchise network is international, our office is local. And to us, senior home care is personal.
