The Feed Trough was opened by my father in 2007 and has been serving the community around Cedar Creek Lake in more ways than with our down-home cooking.
We pride ourselves on our high quality family recipes as well as our support of the local community. Each September we provide lunch for the annual Cedar Creek Clean-Up, where hundreds of volunteers spend their time keeping our lake pristine.
Due to the outbreak of Covid-19 throughout the United States, and the impact that it has had on many local businesses, my father made the difficult decision to close the doors.
Having gone to Culinary School, and working in multiple restaurants in Dallas, I couldn’t see my father’s work crumble around him. I stepped in and took ownership of the restaurant at the end of May 2020.
Over the next few months, I will be remodeling the restaurant, adding new items on the menu, as well as adding an outdoor patio. All of these things are aimed at breathing new life into what has become a staple local business serving Cedar Creek Lake.
I look forward to seeing our regulars as well as the many new faces joining our community!
