Newman Kartal-Flair Bartender Claimed

Hello everyone, my name is Numan Kartal! I’m originally from Turkey and currently live near Cedar Creek Lake about an hour southeast of Dallas. I am proudly what many refer to as an accomplished Flair Bartender!

For those of you not familiar with this term, Flair bartending is the practice of bartenders entertaining guests, clientele or audiences with the manipulation of bar tools (e.g. cocktails shakers) and liquor bottles in tricky, dazzling ways. Used occasionally in cocktail bars, the action requires skills commonly associated with jugglers. It has become a sought-after talent among venue owners and marketers to help advertise a liquor product or the opening of a bar establishment. Competitions have been sponsored by liquor brands to attract flair bartenders, and some hospitality training companies hold courses to teach flair techniques.

I’ve had many years of training and practice to get to where I am today starting out during my early years working for the popular Celebrity Cruise Lines.

Today, I’m enjoying full time employment working at Vernon’s Lakeside, a delightful restaurant and bar situated on the water at Cedar Creek Lake. Here, customers can either arrive by vehicle or boat for a fantastic full meal experience and, on the weekends, enjoy live music by the water.
