The Cedar Creek Lake area‘s first art gallery is now open and calls itself Artful Thinking in Malakoff’s popular South Terry downtown renovation district. Gallery owner Catherine Turn Golden, herself an accomplished arts photographer, purchased the circa 1900’s era building during the fall 2019 and renovated it for their Grand Opening to an appreciative packed house. Home to both juried, regionally recognized professional artists and promising new stars, Artful Thinking is the kind of Gallery you can stop in for a short browse to see what’s new or plan to stay and visit for an art appreciation Catherine and her visiting artists. Catherine herself is a professionally degreed, juried arts, lifestyle and events photographer.  Her primary goal is to capture the stories and inspire people with different styles.  She also covers all aspects of photography including weddings, engagements, portraits and art through everyday things.
