The Larry Reneau professional painting story began in the seventies where three generations of professional  painters began with Larry’s grandfather Howard who first began in the southeast Dallas subdivision of Highland Park. 

Later, in the 1980’s Larry’s dad Tom ventured further south to Cedar Creek Lake, opening up his own painting business and building a strong reputation for quality work and honesty that would be passed down to his son Larry after graduating High School. 

Since the mid-2000’s Larry’s been going strong in the Cedar Creek Lake area, building a large client base of both residential and commercial painting customers working both directly with customers  as well as home builders and remodeling contractors.

Today, Lary Reneau operates two full-time, lake area painting teams and one carpentry team completing about 300 projects per year. Some team members have stayed with Larry since he first began after graduating from high school while all of them have been with the company for many years. So, they’ve got the experience of working together and knowing what it takes to meet the high standards necessary to satisfy Cedar Creek Lake area customers.

Larry Reneau Painting proudly uses only the finest paint products from Benjamin Moore and Sherman Williams locally sourced from Groom & Sons Hardware in Mabank, Texas.

Besides standard residential and commercial painting, they specialize in faux finishes, antiquing and outdoor as well as indoor staining.

With over 20 years of experience and hundreds of satisfied lake-area customers, Larry Reneau Painting can tackle any size job whether it’s large or small.
